Violette Ends Summer League Play

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Former Gonzaga University forward Cory Violette completed play with the Utah Jazz in the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league.
Violette, who started the first game and came off the bench in the final five, averaged 19.8 minutes/game, 4.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 2.3 assists/game as the Jazz went 3-3.
His best offensive night was in a 77-56 win over Atlanta when he played 15 minutes, scored 11 points, went 5-for-6 from the field, 1-1 from the lien and grabbed three rebounds. For the six games he went 8-for-21 from the field for 38.1 percent, 8-for-9 from the line for 88.9 percent and grabbed 23 rebounds, 17 off the defensive glass.
Violette has played in Italy since graduating in 2004.
