Gonzaga's Drew Barham Blogs About AIA Lithuanian Tour: Blog 2

EDITOR’S NOTE: Gonzaga University men’s basketball player Drew Barham, who is in graduate school in the Masters in Organizational Leadership program, is currently in Lithuania with Athletes in Action for a 10-day goodwill tour. He checked in with some thoughts of his second trip abroad with AIA, the other coming in 2011 when he went to China.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 15: We won our game Thursday by around 5 points! It was a fun one that was back and forth the entire game. The team we played had a couple of the top Lithuanian players on it that really had some good moves I can learn from. We are 3-1 right now with our only loss coming to Zalgiris. I shot the ball pretty well today and finished with 19 points and 5 boards.

Wednesday we put on a clinic for local high school kids who wanted to work on their game and become better basketball players. It was a great event that I truly think the kids had a great time at. After it was over, we were able to share a little about what God has done in our lives and how He has impacted us not only in our life outside basketball but also in the game itself. As a team we have been learning on playing for an Audience of One - which means to give your ALL to God every time you step on the court or wherever you may go.

Friday morning we bus out to Latvia for a game that afternoon. That will be our third and final country on this trip. Pray that we will continue to make an impact on the people we come in contact with each day.
