FOX To Broadcast Seven Men's Hoops Games

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's men's basketball will be seen seven times as part of the FOX Sports regional television package announced Friday.
Three of the FOX appearances are part of the 14-game West Coast Conference package - Jan. 23 at the University of Portland, Jan. 31 at Santa Clara University and Feb. 18 at home against Portland. FOX will also televise the battle of the Bulldogs on Nov. 29 from the Spokane Arena when the University of Georgia Bulldogs visit, Gonzaga's Dec. 3 game at the University of Washington, a Dec. 28 visit to The Kennel from Washington State University and Gonzaga's Jan. 8 WCC opener at Pepperdine University.
"Television is an important element to any program, and we're excited to be a part of the FOX broadcasts," head coach Mark Few said. "Our national, regional and local television exposure is among the best in the country."
ESPN has already announced that as many as seven Gonzaga games could be seen on either ESPN or ESPN2 this season. In addition, KHQ-TV is finalizing its schedule of games to broadcast for a third straight season on either KHQ or PAX in the Spokane market. That schedule wil be released soon.
Gonzaga could have as many as 25 of its 27 regular-season games televised this season.
