Frahm Waived By NBA's Blazers

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Blazers announced Wednesday they have waived former Gonzaga University guard Richie Frahm.
Frahm, a free agent training camp invitee, appeared in all seven of Portland's pre-season games and scored a total of 4 points in 24 minutes.
Portland's active training camp roster now stands at 16 players.
Final roster cuts must be made by 6 p.m. EST on Monday, Oct. 28.
A 4-year letterman for the Bulldogs, Frahm was a member of Gonzaga's 1999 NCAA Elite Eight and 2000 NCAA Sweet 16 squads. He is fifth on the all-time Gonzaga scoring list with 1,621 points and is the school leader in 3-point field goals made (280) and attempted (662).
Frahm was a two-time All-West Coast Conference selection as a junior and senior after earning honorable mention honors as a sophomore, averaging 16.9 ppg his final season. He was also an All-District 14 selection as a senior, and won the National 3-Point Shooting Contest at the NCAA Final Four.
