SEATTLE, Wash. - The Comcast Battle in Seattle men's basketball game Dec. 12 at KeyArena matching Gonzaga University against Davidson College has been changed to a 4 p.m. PDT tipoff, John Hines of Idol Sports & Entertainment announced Wednesday.

Some early schedules indicate a 1 p.m. tipoff.

The game will be televised on KHQ-TV and FSN. Check local listings for the coverage in your area.

Tickets are currently on sale for the rematch of the 2008 NCAA Tournament first-round game. Tickets can be purchased at www.battleinseattle.com, www.ticketmaster.com and at all Ticketmaster locations.

For those who have already purchased tickets, please disregard the 1 p.m. game time listed on the ticket. All tickets which include the 1 p.m. time will still be honored at KeyArena. All future tickets printed will reflect the 4 p.m. start.

Please contact Idol Sports & Entertainment at 480-635-8720 with any questions or concerns regarding tickets to the 7th annual Comcast Battle in Seattle.

The game will match head coach Mark Few and 2010 John R. Wooden Award Watch candidate Matt Bouldin of the Bulldogs against 2008 national Coach of the Year Bob McKillop of Davidson College.

Davidson outlasted the Zags 82-76 in Raleigh, N.C., in the 2008 NCAA Tournament. Davidson's Stephen Curry hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with a little more than one minute left and two key free throws in the final 15 seconds to ice the game. Gonzaga could not find an answer for Curry as the All-American guard scored 30 out of his 40 points in the second half. Gonzaga's Steven Gray tried to match Curry, connecting on seven 3-point field goals for all of his 21 points.

Last year's Comcast Battle in Seattle lived up to expectations as the second-ranked University of Connecticut Huskies defeated the seventh-ranked Bulldogs 88-83 in overtime. The overtime thriller created an atmosphere reminiscent of a March Madness game.
