Several Men's Basketball Games On Sirius Radio
SPOKANE, Wash. - Several Gonzaga University men's basketball games will be broadcast on Sirius XM Satellite Radio this season beginning with Friday's regular-season opener against Eastern Washington University and Monday's game with Washington State University.
IMG College and Sirius XM Satellite Radio signed a two-year agreement to broadcast numerous college football and basketball games, including Gonzaga men's basketball. All Gonzaga West Coast Conference games will be broadcast, usually with the Gonzaga feed, all non-conference games against BCS conference teams will be broadcast with the home team's feed and all non-conference games in which either Gonzaga or the opponent are ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 will be broadcast, normally with the home team's feed. The schedule will be announced on a weekly basis every Monday.
NCAA Tournament coverage is subject to other rights agreements, but Sirius will carry all WCC Tournament games using the feed from the higher seeded team.
Friday's 8 p.m. season opener against EWU will air on Sirius and XM Channel 91, with the WSU game on Sirius 132.
There is the possibility some games will be aired on Sirius Premier or XM Premier which require a premium subscription beyond the basic SiriusXM subscription package.
