Zags To Meet Marquette In Saturday's Great Alaska Shootout Final

ANCHORAGE, AK - A put back with less than 10 seconds remaining on Friday night gave Marquette a 50-49 upset victory over No. 20 Indiana and placed the Golden Eagles in the finals of the Great Alaska Shootout.
Gonzaga now knows who its opponent will be after the Zags knocked off No. 24 Texas in the early semifinal on Friday night. Zach Gourde blocked a shot with three seconds remaining and time expired with both teams scrambling for the ball in a 67-64 Gonzaga victory.
Tonight's game will mark the second national television appearance of the tournament for the Zags as the game will be broadcast on ESPN2 starting at 9 p.m. PST.
