BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) - On the strength of the longest home winning streak in the nation, Washington has cracked the latest USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll released Monday.

Washington extended both its season-opening winning streak to six games and home winning streak to 28 with a 112-65 victory over Loyola Marymount on Friday. As a result, the Huskies entered the poll at No. 19.

Boston College (5-0), who began last season with 20 straight wins, is at No. 8, followed by Memphis (3-1) and Kentucky (4-1), which slipped three spots after losing to Iowa in the semifinals of the Guardians Classic.

Florida (5-0) climbed four spots to No. 11 and is followed by Illinois (5-0) and Arizona (2-2), which tumbled five rungs.
