Gonzaga Up To No. 21 In USA Today/ESPN poll

BRISTOL, Connecticut (Ticker) - It did not take long for the USA Today/ESPN coaches' poll to get thrown into disarray.

Kansas made a big move up the rankings after an overtime victory over defending national champion Florida, but it is Ohio State which is the new No. 1 in the new poll released Monday.

The Jayhawks (5-1) are up seven spots to fifth after Saturday's 82-80 win. They are a spot behind the Gators (6-1, who slipped three posts but still got a pair of first-place votes.

Ohio State (6-0) received 11 first-place votes and 740 points to move up two places to take over the top spot while Maui Invitational champion UCLA (4-0) is second with 734 points despite garnering 13 first-place votes.

Pittsburgh (6-0) is third with five first-place votes and 708 points.

North Carolina (4-1), which lost to Gonzaga in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off in New York on Wednesday, is sixth.

Alabama (5-0), Texas A&M (5-0), Marquette (6-0) and Duke (5-1) round out the top 10.

Washington (5-0) is up two spots to 11th, ahead of Louisiana State (2-1), Wisconsin (5-1), Syracuse (6-0) and Connecticut (5-0).

Arizona (3-1), Memphis (3-1), Butler (7-0), Maryland (7-0) and Nevada (3-0) round out the top 20. Butler is new to the poll after defeating Gonzaga to win the NIT Season Tip-Off. The Bulldogs defeated Tennessee in the semifinals.

Gonzaga (6-1), Wichita State (4-0), Georgetown (3-1), Georgia Tech (5-1) and Texas (4-1) round out the Top 25. The Shockers enter the poll after a 57-53 win on Saturday at then-No. 6 LSU.

Tennessee and Kentucky both dropped out of the poll.
