MBB Moves Up in AP Poll
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men’s basketball team rose to No. 9 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll Monday, up one spot from last week’s ranking. The Zags remained the No. 8 team in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Bulldogs (6-0) grabbed the NIT Season Tip Off title with a 73-66 victory over St. John’s in the championship game last Friday. Gonzaga defeated Georgia in the semifinals, 88-76, last Wednesday.
The No. 9/8 Bulldogs welcome Southeastern Louisiana (2-5) Tuesday at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on KHQ and ROOT Sports.
