Gonzaga-OSU Television Coverage Varies
Dec. 9, 2005
SEATTLE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's "Battle in Seattle" men's basketball game with Oklahoma State University at KeyArena will tip off Saturday at 12:51 p.m. PST and television coverage will vary throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as the country.
The game is a regional broadcast on CBS with most of the West Coast and parts of the Midwest seeing the game, approximately 30 percent of the country. Spokane viewers can watch the game on KREM-TV Channel 2.
Fans in the Seattle area will not be able to view the game on local CBS affiliate KIRO-TV, but the game will be broadcast in the Seattle market on KSTW-TV Channel 11. KIRO will instead televise the University of Washington-University of New Mexico game.
The Gonzaga-Oklahoma State game will be preceded on CBS by the Duke University-University of Texas matchup. If that game runs long the tip of the Bulldogs and Cowboys could be delayed up to five minutes by CBS. While some of the country is watching GU-OSU, the rest of the country will see Indiana University and the University of Kentucky.
The game can also be heard on 1510 KGA radio in Spokane and will be audio streamed on the Gonzaga web site.
