KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Gonzaga University men's golf team placed fifth in the Inland Collegiate Challenge to open the 2002 Spring season. Jamie Radonich and Taylor Madison each shot 81 to lead the Gonzaga team which finished with a 334 team score. Washington State won the team competition with a 298 team score.

The Gonzaga University women's golf team placed third in the Inland Collegiate Challenge to open the 2002 Spring season. Gonzaga's Kate Siddell won top individual honors posting a 74 on the Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick, Washington. Gonzaga finished with a team score of 336, 15 strokes behind team winner the University of Idaho.
