RANCHO SANTE FE, Calif. - Gonzaga University finished with a 54-hole total of 1,000 to finish last in the 15th annual USD Invitational men's golf tournament Tuesday.

San Diego State University captured the team title with an 882, while Tony Giarratano of Denver University claimed medalist honors with a 215, four strokes better than Mark Warman and Lars Johsnsson of SDSU who shared second at 219 over the 6,950-yard, par 72 Del Mar Country Club course.

Randy Potter was the top Gonzaga finisher with a 240 for a tie for 54th.
