MADERA, Calif. - Gonzaga University's Souta Nozaka shot a final-round 72 Tuesday for a 54-hole total of 219 to tie for 10th at the West Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship.

Nozaka was 3-over par for the tournament over the par 72, 7,072 yard Riverbend Golf Club Course. He tied with Santa Clara University's Matt Klenz. Adam Syverson of the Bulldogs finished with a 222 for a four-player logjam at 16th.

Michael Putnam of Pepperdine University fired a final-round 66 to easily take individual honors with a 13-under-par 203 for a 7-stroke victory over Robert Frye of the University of San Francisco. Putnam helped the Waves to the team title with a 6-under-par 858 and a 5-stroke victory over USF. The Bulldogs finished with a 903 to slip to eighth, two strokes behind the University of San Diego. Gonzaga shot a 306 for the final 18 holes.
