SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Gonzaga University's men's golf team shot one of its best rounds of the season Tuesday with a 307 in the Countrywide Home Loans Intercollegiate Golf Tournament.

The Bulldogs' Matt Munroe finished 18th overall after a final-round 73 for a 224 over the par-72, 6,730-yard Wood Ranch Golf Club course. The Bulldogs finished 17th with a 933, four strokes behind Utah State University. The University of Utah captured the team crown with an 867 for an 18-stroke victory, while the Utes' Casey Fowles captured indivudal medalist honors wtih a 208 for a 3-stroke win.
