Gonzaga University's Adam Syverson shot a final-round 73 to finish tied for 11th at the Santa Clara University Invitational men's golf tournament Tuesday.
Syverson had a 54-hole total of 224 on the par 72, 6,926-yard Silver Creek Valley Country Club course to help Gonzaga finish seventh with a 931 in the final fall competition for the Bulldogs. The host Broncos captured the team title with an 895 for a 7-stroke victory over the University of San Francisco.
Justin Ahasic of SCU had a 54-hole total of even-par 216 for a 1-stroke victory over a trio of golfers.
