BEALLSVILLE, Md. -Senior Michael Hansen shot a 1-over par 72 Monday and Gonzaga University finds itself ninth after 36 holes of the frost-delayed Georgetown Intercollegiate men's golf tournament.

The first round of play was delayed by more than two hours due to frost. Teams eventually teed off starting at 10:30 a.m. ET, but because of the delay the tournament has been shortened from 54 holes to 36 holes. The final 18 holes will be played beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m. ET Tuesday. The overnight low is expected to be 39 degrees.

Hansen's effort has him tied for eighth going into the final round over the 7,102-yard, par 72 The Members Club at Four Streams course located outside of Washington, D.C.

Jason Azzarito is tied for 21st after a 74 and Kyle Huus is tied for 36 following an opening-round 76. Derek Cheney and Francis Santiago each shot 77 for the Bulldogs, who find themselves at 299, one stroke behind De Paul University and two shots behind Saint Joseph's University and host Georgetown University.

With four players posting scores to finish among the top 20 individuals, Miami (Ohio) University fired a 3-over par 287 and leads the 12-team field at 287 for a 4-stroke lead over Richmond University.

Saint Joseph's sophomore Jim Ridgway fired a 2-under par 69 and leads the field of 71 golfers, holding a two-stroke lead over William & Mary College senior Doug Hurson and Miami senior Aaron Crist, who are tied for second place at 1-under par 70.
