Played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Tigard High for coaches Kibwe Cuffie and Tracy Hasson...As a sophomore was the leading scorer in the 6A Oregon Pacific Conference with seven goals in the first five games prior to being sidelined with a hip flexor injury...Tigard finished runner-up in the OPC both seasons...Following his sophomore season joined the Portland Timbers Academy which does not allow participants to play for their high school team...Started at either right or left back for the Portland Timbers Academy coached by Rod Underwood and Brad Agoos...In first season with Timbers, had a pair of goals and eight assists at left back as squad finished fourth out of nine teams in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Northwest Conference with a 12-8 mark under the direction of coaches Underwood and Mike Smith...Summer of 2013 played with the Westside Timbers Copa club team, scoring 11 goals and collecting six assists in nine matches as team won the Beaverton Cup and a semifinal appearance in the San Diego Surf Cup...As a 10-year-old qualified for the Hershey's National Track Meet North American Finals in Hershey, Pa., finishing 10th in the country in the 400 meters in 1:09.5...Also participated in the Portland-to-Coast relay race as his team finished third out of 50 teams in the high school division in 2012...Selected an OSAA Scholar-Athlete and served on the Principal's Student Advisory Council, as a math tutor and volunteer youth soccer coach.
