High School: Attended Gig Harbor High where he was a 4-year starter for coach Todd Northstrom...two-time captain, including senior season when team placed third in Washington State Class 4A championship...All-Narrows League first team as sophomore and junior...team MVP as a junior and senior...played for ODP Region IV team in 2001 and 2002, traveling to Holland with team in March, 2002...played for Washington State ODP team from 1999-02...member of F.C. United club team, advancing to Washington State Cup finals in 2001-03...2001 F.C. United won U-17 Tampa Bay Sun Bowl title...2002 advanced to U-19 Surf Cup semifinals and U-18 Tamp Bay Sun Bowl title match...Harbor FC team won 1998 Washington State Cup.
FRESHMAN (2003): Brought off redshirt year to help shore up injury-depleted defense, playing in five of final seven matches...first appearance was start against Cal Poly. SOPHOMORE (2004): One of four players to play all 20 matches, had 19 starts...did not start season opener then got the nod the remainder of the season...had one assist against Sacramento State. JUNIOR (2005): Played for the Spokane Shadow in the Premiere Developmental League during the summer...started first five matches of season before being sidelined for the remainder of the season with a knee injury following a collision in Oregon State match in fifth match of season, one of five midfielders sidelined for all or part of the season.
