High School: Attended Academy of the Pacific but earned three varsity letters in soccer for Pac-Five, a combination of several small Hawai'i high schools...played for coach Paul Fu at Pac-Five...helped lead team to second place finish in ILH Boy's Soccer League with a 10-1-3 record...allowed only five goals during senior season en route to earning first-team All-ILH...honorable mention All-State...played for Honolulu Bulls club team...Hawai'i State ODP member.
FRESHMAN (2003): Started all 15 of his appearances, giving way to Kris Wright for the home match against Cal Poly...posted a 5-8-1 record and 2.01 GAA...three of his five wins were shutouts - 1-0 against Denver University in Parents Weekend Invite at Colorado Springs, Colo., 2-0 at home against Cal State-Monterey Bay and 3-0 over Sacramento State in Goal Rush Classic in Fresno, Calif...four of his losses were by shutout and five of his eight setbacks were by one goal including two in overtime. SOPHOMORE (2004): Suffered a medial collateral ligament injury the first day of spring ball and was sidelined...developed a viral condition that also sidelined him in the fall. SOPHOMORE (2005): Recovered from the knee injury and the viral condition and returned to play in the spring, having a solid camp and earning the No. 1 keeper spot heading into fall camp. JUNIOR (2006): Played every minute of the season - a career-high 1769:39 to be exact...posted first of four shutouts in 3-0 win over Xavier in opener of Stephen Hensor/Joe Zaher Classic hosted by Oregon State, then had four saves in 4-1 win over host Beavers to claim the title...had five saves in 1-0 loss in West Coast Conference opener at Loyola Marymount, then saw Bulldogs scored just one goal in first three WCC matches...helped spark Gonzaga to 6-2-1 WCC record down the stretch, including 0-0 home tie with then-17th-ranked Santa Clara, 3-0 win at SMC and 2-1 win at 7th-ranked SCU in season finale...had seven saves in back-to-back matches, a 2-1 loss at San Francisco and the 0-0 tie with SCU...posted 1.47 GAA (6th best in Gonzaga single-season history) and had .701 save percentage...four shutouts tied Mike McCarthy for fourth on single-season list...his 1.60 career GAA ranks fourth; eight shutouts rank third behind fellow Hawaiians Josh Fouts (19) and Mike McCarthy (13), and 220 saves are four shy of career record of 224 held by Fouts.
