HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters at Spokane's Mead High for coach Travis Hansen...first team All-Greater Spokane League selection in 2003...team captain and team MVP in 2003...squad member on 2000 Mead High team that finished fourth in Washington 4A State championships, losing 2-1 to Eastlake High in the consolation game...Washington State ODP member from 1998-2000...also earned one varsity letter in wrestling.
FRESHMAN (2003): Brought off redshirt season to start final seven matches after injuries depleted Gonzaga's defensive corps...saw first collegiate action in start against Cal Poly and started final five West Coast Conference matches. SOPHOMORE (2004): Played for Spokane Shadow of the USL Premier Developmental League...started all 15 of his appearances, playing 1,397 minutes and getting one assist... Shadow went 11-5-1, tying Cascade for the Northwest Division of the PDL with 34 points, but lost tiebreaker and was seeded No. 2 into Western Conference semifinals...lost semifinal match to Orange County Blue Stars 3-2 in overtime in match played in Fresno, Calif...played in 19 matches for Gonzaga, all starts, missing home match against Loyola Marymount with an ankle injury...had a pair of assists in 5-1 win over Montana State-Billings for his only points of the season. JUNIOR (2005): Played for the Boulder Rapids Reserve in the Premiere Developmental League during the summer...one of just three Gonzaga players to start all 20 matches...developed into one of the leaders on defense as injuries sidelined five midfielders throughout the course of the season...named to the All-West Coast Conference second team as Gonzaga allowed just 1.52 goals/match for its lowest total since 2001.
