High School: Attended Spokane's Ferris High where he played for Coach Robin Crain...senior season captured District 8 4A title before losing to Pasco in first round of State 4A playoffs...All-Greater Spokane League first-team defender as a senior, second team as a sophomore.
FRESHMAN (2004): Attended Spokane's Whitworth College where he played for Coach Sean Bushey...honorable mention Northwest Conference selection...scored his only goal of the season against St. Norbert College in second round of NCAA Division III playoffs in a 3-2 loss...had an assist in season opener against Simon Fraser.
SOPHOMORE (2005): Transferred to Gonzaga University and was immediately eligible under NCAA transfer rules...started all 19 of his appearances, missing match at Loyola Marymount after picking up red card in previous match at Portland...helped shore up a defense that was decimated throughout the season with injuries, Gonzaga still allowing 1.52 goals/match for its best goals-against-average since 2001.
JUNIOR (2006): Started all 19 matches and developed into one of top defenders in West Coast Conference, earning second-team All-WCC honors...helped Gonzaga post 1.47 GAA, the best for the Bulldogs since NCAA Tournament team of 2001 allowed just 0.85 goals/game...named to the all-tournament team at the Anders Navy Classic at Annapolis, Md., as Gonzaga lost to Navy 2-1 and blanked Xavier 3-0...had 2 assists, his first career point - he didn't score in 2005 - coming in season-opening 4-1 win over UNLV and the second in 4-0 win over Saint Mary's.
