PORTLAND, Ore. - Zack Radetzky, of the Gonzaga University men's tennis team, advanced to the semifinals of the singles flight B Saturday at the Portland Invitational in Portland, Ore.

Gonzaga, Portland, Portland State, Eastern Washington University, Linfield College, Whitworth College and the University of Idaho are competing at the three-day event.

Radetzky posted a pair of wins Saturday in order to advance to the semifinals, which will be played Sunday. Radetzky advanced to the quarterfinals in the first match of the afternoon with a straight-set victory (6-1, 6-1) over Anderson of Linfield. In the quarterfinal round, he then defeated Portland's Wales in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) to earn a spot in the semifinals.

In the back draw of the flight A singles bracket, Roman Dojcak posted a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Portland's Zivkovic. Also in the back draw, Conor Feeney earned a three-set (3-6, 6-4, 10-7) win over Erikson of Portland State.

Doubles play was cut short Saturday because of rain, but prior to the weather, the Bulldog duo of Dojcak and Stefan Fedderson dropped a 9-8 (7-5) decision to Kincaid and Schlenining of Portland.

The Zags will wrap-up play at the Portland Invitational Sunday.

Complete results from the second day of the event will be available later Saturday night.
