Ashley Anderson's Collegiate Career

FRESHMAN (2002-03): Came off the bench in 21 of first 22 games, then earned starting berth final eight games of the season...averaged 4.0 points but her main contribution was on the boards where she averaged 4.0 rpg for the season and nearly 5.0 rpg over the last seven games of the season...scored a season-high 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Denver at the Rainbow Wahine Classic...collected career-high 11 rebounds against Weber State...greatest defensive game came against Portland as she held the Pilots leading scorer to six points to help to Bulldogs to a 64-50 win.

SOPHOMORE (2003-04): One of two players to start all 30 games...scored career-high 20 points against Santa Clara, going 10-for-16 from the field...was the first Bulldog of the season with a double-double with 15 points, 14 rebounds against Portland State...earned second double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds against Pepperdine in West Coast Conference Tournament semifinal...reached double figures in rebounds on four occasions...career high four blocks against Butler in Hawkeye Challenge at Iowa...went 6-for-6 from the line at Saint Mary's...one of three players to average double-figure points per game with 11.4...defended against four All-Americans in the first six games of the season (Chandi Jones, Houston; Cathrine Kraayeveld, Oregon; Giuliana Mendiola, Washington, and Kim Smith, Utah)...scored in double figures in 22-of-30 games...has appeared in every Gonzaga game in her career...led team with 194 rebounds with 6.5 rpg per game...was the only player to have more than 100 defensive rebounds with 132...finished first on the team with 21 blocks...second on team with 137 field goals...received honorable mention All-WCC honors.

JUNIOR (2004-05): Started the first eight games of the season averaging 8.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game...suffered a season-ending injury when she suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee prior to the Dec. 18 game against Idaho...scored a season-high 20 points against Nevada in the Wells Fargo Holiday Classic at Arizona State University, earning All-Tournament honors.

Misc.: 3.86 high school GPA and recipient of Preseidential Academic Excellence Award...majoring in sport management.
