HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Big Sky High School in Missoula, Mont...was a four-year basketball letterwinner...as a freshman, helped the Big Sky Eagles to the 2008-09 Montana AA State Championship...the Eagles closed out the year with a 22-1 overall record and a 10-1 mark in the Western AA Conference...as a sophomore, earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Western AA...as a junior, averaged 15.4 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game... was named First Team All-State and First Team All-Western AA for the second-consecutive season and closed out the year as the State AA leading rebounder...as a senior, averaged 16.9 points and 10.2 rebounds to lead Big Sky to a 12-12 record and a fifth-straight state tournament berth...became a three-time Class AA All-State honoree... also lettered in volleyball and track and field...as a junior, Tinkle took second in the 400-meters and sixth in the 200-meters at the AA State Championships.
