Hanna McClintock Named CRCA All-America
June 11, 2008
SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University women's rowing junior Hanna McClintock has been named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) All-America second team. McClintock is only the second women's rower and first rower since 2004 to garner CRCA All-America accolades. McClintock helped lead the Bulldogs to their 11th West Coast Conference Championship in 12 years and to their third WIRA Championships in four seasons. McClintock also was named to the CRCA All-West Region first team, All-WIRA first team and All-WCC this season. "Hanna was an integral part of our team this year," stated first-year head coach Melissa Flint. "She leads through example and works hard on a consistent basis. She wants to see our team succeed and does her part to push herself as well as her teammates. Having someone on the All-America team speaks highly of our Gonzaga athletes." Maria Bokulick is the only other women's rower to earn CRCA All-America distinction. She garnered second team honors in both 2003 and 2004.
