Robert Gray enters his eighth season as the men's and women's golf coach at Gonzaga University. The 2003 West Coast Conference Men's Golf Coach of the Year, Gray has been active on the local golf scene for more than 15 years, with 12 years of professional experience.

A member of the Washington State University golf team for the 1992-93 season, Gray graduated from WSU in 1993 with a bachelor of science degree in landscape architecture.

In November of 1993, Gray joined the professional golfing ranks and achieved membership in the PGA of America on Jan. 1, 1997.

Gray became a full time staff member in the summer of 2002 after working several years as an assistant golf professional at Hangman Golf Course in Spokane. The 36-year-old coach and his wife Joani have one daughter.
