Santoni And Mangrobang Fire In The 70s On Day Two At Ptarmigan

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – A day after leading the Zags with a two-over 74, Jessica Mangrobang trimmed one off that score with a 73 in the second round of the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Monday at Ptarmigan Country Club.

She put together a nice round on Monday, going one-under on the front with a birdie on the par-four seventh. She battled through two bogeys on the back to par 15 holes for the second-straight day. She leads the field by two with 30 pars overall and is tied for 21st.

Freshman Francesca Santoni shot her first Zag round in the 70s with a 77. She is tied in 70th after birdieing the par-four third and par-four seventh to go even on the front.

The Zags are in 15th place at 636 and +37. San Jose State grabbed the team lead at three-under and Suthavee Chanachai is the leader by eight strokes at 11-under-par.
