Italian Francesca Santoni Joins Women's Golf

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women’s golf program has added Francesca Santoni to their roster for the upcoming season.
She hails from Torbole Sul Garda, Italy and attended Istituto Aniene in Rome, graduating this past year. Santoni has been very active in sports, playing tennis, skiing and sailing, along with golf. She competed in the Italian International Amateur Tournament in March at the Donnafugata Golf Resort in Sicily, taking 91st in a talented field.
She joins a Zags roster with three underclassmen returning with a lot of valuable experience.
