Victoria Fallgren Selected As WSGA Mid-Amateur Player of the Year

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Gonzaga women’s golf assistant coach Victoria Fallgren was named the Women’s Mid-Amateur Player of the Year by the Washington State Golf Association (WSGA).

This is the first time Fallgren has received this award. She won the Washington State Women’s Mid-Amateur and qualified for the 2017 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur.

The 31st U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, originally slated for Oct. 7-12 at Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., has been relocated to Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas due to weather related damage. The championship will be conducted from Nov. 11-16 on the club’s famed Cypress Creek Course.
