2016 Head of the Spokane

2016-17: Defeated Washington State in the Fawley Cup with the fourth varsity eight … defeated WSU with the third varsity eight in the fall’s Head of the Spokane … WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.

2015-16: Took first in the varsity four boat at the Portland Fall Classic… took third at the Head of the Lake in the third varsity eight boat…defeated Oregon State in the second varsity four boat…took second in the open eight boat at the San Diego Crew Classic.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Holy Names Academy in Seattle…rowed crew and finished ninth at the 2013 USA Youth Nationals in the varsity four boat…went to the Northwest High Performance Camp…was most Inspirational Player in 2011 and on the US Rowing Honor Roll in 2015…earned National Hispanic Scholar recognition and was a member of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar with a 4.2 GPA.

MISC: Daughter of Victor and Annie…has a twin sister, Ana, who is also on the GU rowing team, and another sister, Adela… her great grandfather James Wickwire played golf at Gonzaga…her dad played football at Columbia Basin College…had three cousins play collegiate baseball and two played professionally…majoring in computer science with a goal to work for an athletic tech company…chose Gonzaga for the rowing program and because her grandparents attended…she is great at trivia, but sports trivia is her fatal flaw.
