Women's Soccer Gains Experience in Spring

Zags earn valuable lessons against tough spring competition

2014: Played in 12 matches as a senior, starting eight...found the net once for the Zags...started season opener Aug. 22 at Bakersfield...returned from injury Sept. 19 at North Texas, coming in off bench to help Zags win 2-1 in double overtime...re-joined starting lineup Oct. 9 in 2-0 victory at San Diego...scored equalizer Oct. 26 vs. Pepperdine, giving Zags a 1-1 draw against 11th-ranked Waves...also played season high 88 minutes vs. Pepperdine...saw 78 minutes of work in 3-2 comeback victory Nov. 2 at San Francisco.

2013: Played and started in all 19 matches for the Bulldogs...ended the season fourth on the team in total points with five...tied for second on the team in assists with three...also tallied one goal...finished the campaign with 22 shots -- tied for third most on the squad...had the game-winning assist in the Zags 1-0 win at UC Riverside, Sept. 27...scored the lone goal in the Bulldogs 3-1 setback to San Diego, Oct. 26...had assists in back-to-back contests; in the 3-2 overtime loss at Pacific, Nov. 1 and in the 2-1 win at Saint Mary's, Nov. 3.

2012: Played in 20 matches for the Bulldogs, getting the start in 18 of those matches...finished the season tied for the most points on the team with 10, scoring a team-tying high four goals and adding two assists...scored the game-winning goals in back-to-back matches; a 1-0 shutout at Austin Peay University, Aug. 31 and at the Vanderbilt University, Sept. 2... also scored the game-winning goal in a 3-0 win versus the University of Nevada, Sept. 30...tallied the game-winning assist in the Bulldogs 1-1 double-overtime tie against the University of Portland, Oct. 11...also had an assist in the Zags 4-1 victory over Eastern Washington University, Nov. 4.

2011: Played in all 19 matches, getting the starting nod 12 times...ended the season with two goals and one assist for five points...also tallied 13 shots, six of which were on goal...made her collegiate debut against 24th ranked Illinois, Aug. 19...scored the game winning goal in the Zags 2-0 victory over Seattle University, Sept. 30...scored her second goal of the season against WCC foe BYU, Oct. 15...her lone assist of the season came in the Bulldogs 3-0 win over the University of Idaho, Sept. 23.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to Gonzaga after playing three years at Lakeside High in Nine Mile Falls...earned second team All-State 1A as a defender and was selected second team All-Metro League as a freshman...in the Olympic Development Program, played for the Washington State '93 Pool...in 2010 the team competed in the ODP Championship Tournament in Phoenix, Ariz...helped the Eagles reach the State 1A semifinals in 2010.

MISC.: Was a member of the National Honor Society. She chose Gonzaga over Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University and the University of Idaho.
