Gonzaga Women's Soccer vs Eastern Washington

Women's soccer faced off against Eastern Washington, Sept. 2nd, which was called a no-contast due to weather

JUNIOR (2016): Played in 11 games...started 9 matches...scored once and had two assists in 3-3 draw at Boise State...two assists were individual season-high for Gonzaga...took one shot on goal and assisted on game winning goal in 1-0 victory versus Nevada...took one shot against Oregon, Idaho and Portland State...took six corner kicks in 5-2 win over Portland State.

SOPHOMORE (2015): appeared in all 19 matches … started in 18 matches … scored a goal in a 2-1 loss at Pacific … had an assist in a 3-1 in against CSU Bakersfield … three of her nine shots were on frame … played 110 minutes in five contests.
FRESHMAN (2014): Saw action in six matches freshman year...scored one goal...made season debut Aug. 31 vs. Idaho, scoring first collegiate goal in 5-0 win...played 13 minutes in defense against Washington State Sept. 12...helped Zags shut out Boise State Sept. 15 in Boise.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity member of Edmonds-Woodway High School girl's soccer team...earned All-WESCO South honorable mention accolades as a freshman, All-WESCO South second-team honors both her sophomore and junior seasons and was tabbed first-team All-WESCO South and first-team All-WESCO her senior year...helped lead Edmonds-Woodway to a 14-3-2 overall record her senior campaign...Edmonds-Woodway was the WESCO South Champions and won their second 4A District 1 Championship in three years with a 3-1 victory over Jackson High...notched an assist in the victory and ended the year with 20 total assists and four goals...season came to an end in the first round of the Washington State Tournament...Edmonds-Woodway made it to the District play-offs all four years of Van Citters career, won the 4A District 1 Championship also in 2011 as well as making a state tournament appearance the same season....also stand-out track athlete, earning four varsity letters. Her sophomore season she participated in state in the 4x100 relay and as a senior she was tabbed first-team All-WESCO in both the long jump and 4x100 relay...went on to place eighth in the 4x100 relay in the state tournament.
MISC.: Played most of her youth soccer career playing with Northwest Nationals and most recently for Crossfire Premier and Crossfire ECNL.
