Gonzaga picked up the early lead by taking the doubles point after beating the Eagles in all three doubles slates. Gurule. “I was very impressed that we were able to pull out four three-set matches. The team’s focus was as good as I’ve seen this year. Kristina did a great job of coming back from being down one set and 2-5 before winning the third set so handily. Rika and Sophie both did a great job of rebounding from first-set losses. Eastern played very well and it was a good win for us today.”
