Women's Tennis Signs Kylie Peek To Letter-Of-Intent

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University head women's tennis coach D.J. Gurule has announced the signing of Kylie Peek to a national letter-of-intent Tuesday.
A native of Park City, Utah, Peek will join the Bulldogs along with incoming freshmen Katie Edwards, Hailee Gopinath and Alexandra Tallas in the fall.
"I am very excited to have someone of Kylie's caliber commit to Gonzaga," Gurule said. "She is an outstanding addition to our team and will make an immediate impact. She rounds out the best recruiting class in my tenure at Gonzaga. Although it is impossible to replace our seniors this recruiting class will be one to watch in the future."
In addition to being ranked 135th nationally by TennisRecruiting.net, Peek is also ranked third in the Mountain region and second in the state of Utah.
Although she was homeschooled, she played high school tennis at Park City High as a freshman and at Woodbridge High as a senior. Since her sophomore year, she has been attending the Advantage Tennis Academy in Irvine, Calif. She has participated in the Intermountain regional, having won the doubles title four times.
