Mehndiratta and Farmer Post Victories in Day Two of ITA's

Consolation Results in PDF Format PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team wrapped up play at the ITA Northwest Championships in Palo Alto, Calif. Saturday. Sophomores Rika Mehndiratta and Danielle each posted victories for the Bulldogs in each player's lone Consolation Bracket match of the day. Mehndiratta posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over Kerri Kummer of San Jose State and Farmer later beat Silvana Dukic also of SJSU 6-4, 6-3. Mehndiratta and Farmer each posted a 1-1 records in the Bulldogs' final tournament of their fall season. The ITA Regional Tournament has a single elimination format for its main draw and also had players compete in one consolation match. The Zags open the spring season hosting Eastern Washington University Feb. 3.
