First Day of Volleyball Practice
Aug. 8, 2017
SPOKANE, Wash.--Tuesday was the first day of practice for numerous college volleyball teams around the country, and it was no different for Gonzaga as the Zags took to the court twice on the day. Here are the sights and sounds from day one of the 2017 Gonzaga volleyball season.
The day began with some thoughts from head coach Diane Nelson.
Things quickly progressed through warm-ups and passing drills before the scrimmages began, photos from all three of which may be found below.

After three set-long scrimmages, the first practice came to a close. Here are highlights from the first session of the day.
Session two went much like the first, and at the end of the day, we caught up with Coach Nelson for her thoughts on day one of the 2017 season.
Gonzaga volleyball will continue training camp until matches begin on August 25-26 when they face Illinois, Air Force, and Montana State at the Montana State Bobcat Classic.
